Since the ViStudio extension is not yet in the Chrome Web Store, follow these simple steps to install it manually in under 2 minutes.
Download the Extension
First, download the latest compiled version of the ViStudio Chrome Extension as a ZIP file.
Extract the ZIP File
Locate the downloaded vistudio-extension.zip file on your computer and extract (unzip) its contents into a folder (e.g., vistudio-extension). Keep this folder in a safe place, as deleting it will disable the extension.
Open Chrome Extensions
Open a new tab in Google Chrome, copy and paste the following address into your URL search bar, and press Enter:
chrome://extensions/💡 Alternatively, you can click the three dots menu (top-right) → Extensions → Manage Extensions.
Enable "Developer Mode"
In the top-right corner of the Chrome Extensions page, find the toggle switch labeled Developer Mode and turn it ON.
Load Unpacked Extension
Click the Load unpacked button that appears in the top-left corner of the Extensions page. In the file explorer, select the vistudio-extension folder that you extracted in Step 2.
Pin the Extension
Click the jigsaw/puzzle piece icon (🧩) in the top-right of your Chrome browser window, find ViStudio Session Injector, and click the Pin icon. This lets you launch Flow Studio with a single click in the future!
